ABOUT NFL FLAG LA

Established in 2012, NFL FLAG LA is the premier youth flag football league for boys and girls ages 6–13. We provide young athletes with a fun, fast-paced, and non-contact environment to learn the fundamentals of football, boost their agility, and build lifelong teamwork skills.

We have expanded to serve families across two major hubs in Los Angeles County:

  • Westside Hub (Co-Ed & Girls Leagues): Serving Santa Monica, Venice, Playa Vista, Westchester, Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, Mar Vista, Palms, Pacific Palisades, West LA, Brentwood, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Ladera Heights, Hawthorne, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, and surrounding areas.

  • Burbank Hub (Co-Ed League): Proudly serving Burbank and surrounding San Fernando Valley communities.

Every professional athlete in the NFL started exactly the same way: playing as a kid for the simple love of the game. At NFL FLAG LA, keeping the game fun is our highest priority. Through expert coaching, healthy competition, and structured play, we create an environment where players can build lifelong friendships, and fall in love with sports. Our goal is always the same: smile, compete, and enjoy the game.

Safety first

Your child’s well-being is our highest priority. We provide the perfect balance: all the excitement, teamwork, and athletic development of football, built entirely within a non-contact environment. To ensure a secure and positive experience across all our leagues, every game is supervised by trained officials and certified head coaches who actively enforce safe play, proper technique, and sportsmanship.

Helping children develop strong character is just as important as teaching football fundamentals. Through every practice and game, our players learn invaluable life lessons—including the power of teamwork, the importance of fair play, and the true meaning of good sportsmanship. We measure success by the character our players build, not just their play on the field.

WHEN WE PLAY

NFL FLAG LA football is played on Sunday afternoons in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.

WHO CAN PLAY

NFL FLAG LA is for boys and girls (ages 6 to 13) and is for all skill levels.

PRACTICE LOCATIONS

  • CO-ED LEAGUE: Practices are determined by the head coach and will take place at a local park either in Santa Monica, Playa Vista, Mar Vista, or surrounding areas.
  • GIRLS LEAGUE: Practices are determined by the head coach and will take place at a local park either in Santa Monica, Playa Vista, Mar Vista, or surrounding areas.
  • BURBANK LEAGUE: Practice day and times are determined by the head coach and will take place at Brace Canyon Park.
